Best Eastern Europe Pub Crawls

Nightlife - pub crawl in eastern europe
First of all, what is a pub crawl? A pub crawl or bar hopping in these modern days, it's an organized scouting for fun, party with a group of people from one bar to another tasting drinks, sampling the nightlife and the best and last part of the evening, a nightclub.

What makes it a good idea is simple, normally if you decide to try to find a good place on your own, you can get redirected by the wrong person and end up ruining your short stay, I've been in lots of hotels where the receptionist sent me to a fancy club, which was nice, but far from what I was expecting, not to mention that in Serbia where I had this experience, all the name of the streets are in something similar to Russian characters. So that's were I spent most of my money, in the taxi and the pricey cover. On a next occasion in Budapest, while staying at a hostel, one of the staff promised to take us out, I have to admit it was a fun night, however the alcohol was horrible and the places uninteresting, well I should have figured out that the locals are not traveling as me and they are not willing to spend money.

So to avoid any of these situations, here are a couple of recommendations to make the best out of those weekend or short trips to Eastern Europe:

The Belgrade pub crawl
BELGRADE, has a reputation in the balkans as the city with the best nightlife and had also outstanding mentions in british media and lonely planet, simply go to the river side and walk along the rafts where you will find floating clubs playing House music or serbian folk mixed with pop AKA turbofolk. But if you are more into getting to know the alternative nightlife and in the mood to see some hidden authentic pubs take THE Belgrade Pub Crawl. The offer is welcome drinks in each spot (mostly the traditional Rakija in all their variations) and free entry for the nightclub, in the winter time they have 2 routes and the price is around 12 Euros. Here the fan page.

Budapest pub crawl
BUDAPESTBudapest All Night Crash brings the unique atmosphere of Budapest’s underground nightlife and its party-loving people close to you. Many DJs and bands from the whole world have discovered this vibrant and original party scene where all those who taste it keep coming back for more.

PRAGUEPrague Pub Crawl Has established a reputation of their own and probably you will hear about them in every hostel you stay in, they offer Czech beer, wine and vodka shooters at the Prague Pub Crawl Bar starting at 8 p.m. They have a power hour where you drink as much as you can and a T-shirt comes included in the price, which is around 20 Euros.
On the other hand there is also the alternative for the ones who love the underground scene, Zizkov tours  is leaded by Boris and he will take you to a couple of interesting places in a famous district of Prague which claims the record for the highest number of pubs per capita of any city district in Europe.

SOFIA, They are the one and only pub crawl event in the capital of Bulgaria, they even organize events such as Cultural Pub Crawl which is a mix of pubs and museums... you better ask them by Facebook.

SPLIT, In Croatia they work every night at 21:00. starting in a Sailor themed bar with all you can drink beer, then it's 2 two more bars before ending the night at a nightclub on the beach. The Split Pub Crawl describe themselves as the best night you will never remember.
